EVENTS EVENT DATES BOOKING DEADLINES PRICES

 

Unfortunately there are no planned events for 2008. Last year we suffered very badly at the hands of vandals who burnt the admin and sleeping block to the ground, as well as a series of other attacks during a major expansion of the system, leading to the closure of the site during our peak season and many disappointed players. The knock-on effects were that this year we had simply lost so much support, and investment, we were effectively grounded. We're currently hoping to be able to re-launch the system in 2009 with additional support and investment.

I am personally very sorry for our poor performance and communication during this period. My focus is now on gathering capitol and making the necessary arrangements for the continuation of the events. Please visit the forums and website in the New Year and over the winter break for the latest news and any developments.

Character Management
The online Character Management system uses different logon information then that of our forums, please keep it safe.

If you have already attended one of our events there will be an account for you. If you do not have, or have lost your logon details, please contact us.

If you have never attended one of our events, please follow the instructions on the next few pages to generate a character and book events for our system.

Character Backgrounds
All new characters must have their profiles approved by the Game team before attending an event, this will happen over the next few pages as you generate a new character. Discussing your characters background & ambitions will help us identify your needs as a player, and we can therefore offer the best service and advice as you progress.

Camping & Amenities
You are responsible for your own food at all our events. To be sure you have all the comforts you require when you want them; bring the following: adequate Camping equipment & bedding, camping stove, torch, food and a water container. (FREE: tea, coffee and boiling water is available in the game areas.)

PHOENIX NOTTINGHAM SITE CAMPING - Sleeping at Phoenix-Urban is outdoor camping, please be sure to bring a tent and everything you need for a good nights sleep. Note that the ground on the urban site is quite rough, so it is essential that you please pack a camping bed or inflatable. Our large GP tent and seating will provide an immediate area next to the camp site for you to relax away from the fray.

Arrival / Departure & Time-in
Although there is no role-play until time-in on Saturday, you are welcome to arrive on the Friday between 5pm and midnight, to setup any in-character equipment you have and socialise. We pride ourselves in having a friendly and open community and enjoy some social banter and discussion on the Friday before the serious fun starts on Saturday.

Time-in: Saturday 10am till 1am (Sunday morning) & Sunday 10am till 4:30pm

Although time-in is not till 10am, at the very latest you must arrive in time to attend safety briefs & weapon checks beginning at 8:00am Saturday. If you are late, you may have to wait until after the brief to book-in and get your equipment checked.

If you wish to stay over on Sunday night, please contact us and we may be able to arrange this for you.

 

Special Offers
New players recieve £10 credit towards future events! This will automatically be added to your account after attending your first event.

Established players can gain £5 credit for every new player they introduce to Nexus! If you have referred any new players, or have been referred, you will be asked to submit their name(s).

Payment by Credit Card
You can pay via credit card, even without a Paypal account of your own. Please follow the onscreen instructions.

Payment by Cheque
Please make any cheques payable to Nicolas Cook. Please also write your name and address on the back of the cheque. When selecting the payment by cheque option during online booking, please ensure your payment arrives within 14 days of completeing your booking and before the event deadline.

Payment that arrives after an Event deadline, will be subject to the late booking fee's.

Pay on Gate
To book an event and pay on the gate, please follow the next few pages and select 'POG' on the booking pages.

As the events require a lot of logistics, there are limits to the numbers we can accept on a POG basis; please help us prepare for the numbers we expect by booking and selecting POG.

Bookings made after an Event deadline, will be subject to the late booking fee.

Cancellations & Transfers.
You may cancel a booking up to seven days before the event takes place. We will charge a £5 administration fee to cancel a booking but you can transfer a booking to a later event without charge.

Restrictions.
If you are under 18, we require written permission including contact details from a Parent or Guardian to confirm your booking. Please also bring some valid age identification with you to the event. Exceptions cannot be made.

Persons under the age of 18 years may not use pyrotechnics at our events.

Persons under the age of 16 are not allowed to participate at N-E-X-U-S events.
